Enjoy Thanksgiving Break
It is that time of year to reflect on what we are grateful for. I know that I am lucky to be a part of this special WMS and Brookfield community of students, staff, and families. I hope that your Thanksgiving is filled with love, laughter, really good food, and great memories with families and friends. Please make a point to thank those important people in your life during this break and throughout the year. ENJOY!
Veterans day
Veterans Day at WMS
We want to thank all of the Veterans who came to WMS to share their experiences with our students. Their heartfelt stories and inspirational conversations about their service help our students better understand the importance of our military and how lucky we are to have all of the freedoms we do in America.

WMS After School Activities
Please see our lists of after-school activities. All after school activities finish at 4:00 p.m. Students can be picked up by a parent or take our late bus home. We ask that if you are picking up your child to please be at WMS by 4:00 p.m. If not, the expectation is that he/she will take the late bus home.
PTO
WMS PTO News
Thank you to all who donated to our WMS Walkathon. We appreciate all of your support and helping the PTO to provide special programs for students and staff. Big shout out to our local business community also for their donations. The final amount raised was $22,168.87.

Help
Still need your help!
  • Forgetting things - we are still noticing a pattern of students leaving their belongings at home. This includes lunches, computers, chargers, water bottles, homework, books, etc. Helping your children to organize things at night ahead of time (use a checklist) will create good habits to help them be more successful in the future.

WMS and the Brookfield District are again very excited to raise money for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center to support kids with cancer by participating in their annual PJ Day! Money is raised to honor these patients who must wear their pajamas for days, weeks, or longer while fighting cancer or other serious illnesses. Wear your PJs to school on Friday, December 13th.

Please consider donating in honor of the young patients who turn to CCMC for hope.
